The Easter Bunny put in an appearance at Tywyn on Easter Sunday (31st March) and may be seen in one of the pictures on the Wharf Redevelopment pages. His visit was enjoyed by most of the small children present. Chris Awdry, TRPS President, was also present on the day reading a number of stories in the Museum.

The same evening a number of members' sixtieth birthdays were celebrated with a special train and an evening of conviviality and organ music at Neuadd Pendre culminating in duets from member David Lowe and Len Rawle, who had been in Tywyn the previous evening for one of the regular series of Wurlitzer concerts.

The Railway appears to have had a good start to the season with trains being well loaded on most days. Work continued on the Play Area at Abergynolwyn with equipment and benches now installed. The gates and signal post are nearing completion in Pendre Works. Other work included finishing the crossing works at Forestry Crossing, repointing the arch of the bridge at Dolgoch and trackwork in Dolgoch Woods.
