The boiler of Loco No. 4 "Edward Thomas" (more commonly known in recent years as Peter Sam) has been sent for repairs. The boiler was lifted off the TR boiler trolley and onto a trailer by Bill Heselton's crane around lunchtime on Sunday 17th February, and has been dispatched to Bartlett Engineering near Tenby for investigation and a quotation for the work - extensive repairs and renewal are required.
