Admin login | Printable version New displays in the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum are planned for the 2002 season, on Tywyn and the Boer War, Jubilee Festival Events and DeWintons of Caernarfon. Trains on Saturday 17th were comfortably loaded, no doubt helped by excellent weather. No.2 worked the first train but suffered air pump troubles and was replaced on the afternoon service by a hastily prepared No.3. No.2 was repaired to work both trains on Sunday 18th. Other work at the weekend included a visit by the Conservation expert in connection with the second stage of the HLF grant application, and the outdoor gang undertaking clearance work up and down the line in preparation for outdoor week which commences on 23rd February. A number of controllers were also present for a training seminar. |
