With children running wild over the Easter Holidays what better place to bring them for a treat (or some time out) than to our Slater Room for fun and creative activities! Located on the upper level of our Museum, the Slater Room will offer numerous activities from Easter Egg Painting to Bonnet Making and Colouring with prizes available for the “Best Decorated Egg and Bonnet Competitions”.
If you believe your child has got what it takes to win the grand prize, be sure to enter their decorated eggs and bonnets into the main competition by 12 noon on Sunday, April 16th.
These free activities are a win-win for both children and parents as the King’s Licensed Café will be open all day for meals and refreshments where parents can sit and unwind. The Slater Room will be open from the 15th – 21st April between 10am – 4pm.
There will be 5 steam engine trips every day throughout Easter, where there will be an exclusive Railway Adventure Playground and Quarryman’s Caban at Abergynolwyn for the children to enjoy. The Railway Shop and Narrow Gauge Railway Museum will also be open as usual.
