Jubilee Festival Week, 21-29 July 2001

Between 21st and 29th July 2001, the railway celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in preservation with a wide programme of special events, culminating in 50 hours of continuous operation.

The last train of Jubilee Festival Week (the 7.30pm from Wharf, on Sunday 29th July 2001) was hauled as far as Pendre by all five working steam locos. Here they are lined up in the middle road at Wharf before backing onto the train.
