TR Garter with Prince of Wales feathers
The Talyllyn Railway is a historic narrow-gauge steam railway, set in the beautiful Mid-Wales countryside. Running from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol, the line passes the delightful Dolgoch Falls and there are excellent forest walks at Nant Gwernol. Why not come and visit us for a great family day out?

KidsGoForTwoQuidcream.jpgThis year we have introduced a new family friendly child fare “Kid’s Go for 2 Quid”. This offer is available on any journey where children are accompanied by at least one fare paying Adult or Senior. There are no restrictions on the number of Children who can travel*.

The “Kid’s Go for 2 Quid” offer replaces our family tickets, which where only available on a few journey options and restricted to groups with two adults. The new offer is available on all journeys including singles, returns and Day Rover tickets. "Kid's go for 2 Quid" is available for travel on every train shown on the timetable, including during the Easter Bunny Visit and Duncan Days.

*if your group is more than 15 people see our group rates which may offer a better deal and additional benefits when you book in advance.

In a recent passenger survey, the friendliness and appearance of staff was rated excellent by 99.8% of visitors.
I'm not sure it could be improved, it's always been a professional, very friendly and enjoyable experience. Thank you.
