Pat Garland
We regret to announce that Patrick Garland died yesterday, 11th. January, 2005. The funeral is to be held at St. Mary Magdalene, Tanworth-in-Arden, Warwickshire, at 1330 on Friday, 21st. January, 2005.
Pat served as Treasurer of the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society from 1950 to 1965 and remained a member of the Society's Council until 1983. He was President of the Society from 1975 to 1988, and also a Director of Talyllyn Holdings Limited and the Talyllyn Railway Company from 1965 to 1983 and Chairman from 1979 to 1983.
