Summer Outdoor Week photos

Summer Outdoor Week is taking place between 25th June and 3rd July, and Mike Carpenter has kindly sent these photographs of the work taking place.


The triangle between the coal road, edge siding and curved siding at Wharf was excavated and a membrane laid and covered with slate waste.


The spoil from the Wharf triangle being unloaded up the line.


On the main line, 76079 passed Wharf on a test run.


It's bye-bye to the portable building that used to house the Wharf cafe - going...
