Projects at Pendre Part 1: Locos

During the October Half Term week Paul Knapton was out and about at Pendre with his camera, and has sent these photos of various loco projects underway at that time.

Loco 10's repaint is now finished, and it is now in service. It is seen here on the Pendre headshunt awaiting its next duty.

This unusual view taken from the cab roof shows the lining out.

Loco No. 1 "Talyllyn" is currently undergoing a major rebuild. These three views show the major parts in store in the south carriage shed.

Diesel No. 5 "Midlander" is also undergoing a major re-build, and is seen here in the works.
