Carriage 10 in the Paint Shop

Carriage No. 10 continues to receive attention at Pendre. The frames were drawn out and used as a flat wagon to remove a fallen tree from Wharf cutting, before being stored at Wharf on the edge for a short time. Towards the end of Spring Bank Holiday week the frames moved to Pendre, where the angle-irons that support the body were removed in the Loco shed by Mike Green (who had welded them on in the first place).

Thanks to Paul Knapton for these photographs.
