Royal Wedding Train on Talyllyn Railway
The Talyllyn Railway commemorated the Wedding of HRH the Prince of Wales and Mrs Parker-Bowles on Saturday 9th April with a special headboard on the locomotive of the 1140 train from Wharf Station to Nant Gwernol.
The photograph, by Marc Smith shows locomotive No. 3 "Sir Haydn" posed with the decorated headboard, and the train crew, Driver Steve Powell; Fireman Lis Mann and Guard Tony Edwards before departure from Wharf.
