With the shop exterior wall (facing Neptune Road) now rebuilt, Jon Richmond has sent these photographs taken yesterday, Sunday 30th January.

The remaining section of the 1865 building (between the new wall and the entrance doors) awaiting repointing.

Finishing off the ceiling, with the new wall to the right. The electrically operated shutter between the shop and new cafe (currently covered with a plastic sheet) is clearly visible.

The booking hall end of the shop - the floor level is being lowered here because of the new slate floor.
