Gasworks Loco Returns to Museum

The last of the major exhibits for the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum - the Kerr, Stuart Dundee Gasworks loco - returned to Wharf Station on Monday 18th April from restoration by Ian Howitt. Many thanks to Brian Owen and Keith Theobald for these photographs.

Brian Owen the Project Curator putting the finishing touches to the display area.

With Jubilee 1897 temporarily removed from the museum, the Gas Works loco is lifted...

...and lowered to ground level.

It then moves into the building...

...makes its way carefully through the museum...

...and finally arrives in its new home.
