Jubilee 1897

This 0-4-0 saddle tank was built in 1897 by Manning, Wardle of Leeds (works number 1382), and supplied to the Cilgwyn Quarry, Nantlle in North Wales. In 1928 it was sold to the Penrhyn Quarry for £150 and worked there until withdrawal in 1955, subsequently coming to Tywyn in 1963. Steps give visitors access to its commodious cab.
