Stations @ Stations
An evening return trip to Nant Gwernol by steam train stopping at each railway station for a Bible reading and homily, based around the Stations of the Cross.
The object of the Stations of the Cross is to help the faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage of prayer, through meditating upon the chief scenes of Christ's sufferings and death. It has become one of the most popular devotions for Roman Catholics, as well as featuring in the worship and devotion of other Christian denominations (Source: Wikipedia)
Meet at 4.00 pm in the Museum at Tywyn Wharf Station for the first 'station'. King’s Licensed Cafe will be open beforehand for refreshments.
This unique event is organised in collaboration with Tywyn Churches Together
There is no Charge for Tickets - There will be a collection for a charity chosen by Tywyn Churches together. Tickets available from Tywyn's churches, chapels, and Tywyn Wharf Booking Office.
See a report from 2009's event. Please contact us for further information.
