Pictures taken during filming 'Victorian Farm' on the Talyllyn

« Newer News ItemOlder News Item »

Don't forget - Thursday 5th February, BBC TWO, 9pm.

During the filming John Smallwood took his camera along and managed to get some shots of the crew and train. Unfortuntely the weather doesn't look very pleasant!

Not an image you see very often with an up train in the loop. Filming often means the crew get to do unusual manoeuvres. Standing by the train are Driver Phil Higginson, the Producer Naomi Benson, Fireman David Martin, Guard David Leech, and Victorian Farmers Peter Ginn and Ruth Goodman.

Don't forget to tell everyone you know to tune in to watch 'Victorian Farm', Thursday 5th February, BBC TWO, 9pm, for a bit of Talyllyn on the television. It's been an excellent series so far, a fascinating insight into working on an old farm and how rural areas such as the Fathew Valley managed the land during the period the Talyllyn Railway was built.

Thank you very much to John Smallwood for sending the photographs in.
