 A  special issue stamp sheet and cover issued on 19th July 2004 to  celebrate loco No. 6's 50 years on the Talyllyn Railway.  A special issue stamp sheet was issued on 13th January 2004 to co-incide with the 20p Royal Mail stamp of loco No. 2 issued in their Classic Locomotives issue.  A series of five sheets of stamps, commemorating 50 years of the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society, was issued in 2000-2001. Each sheet represents one decade of Society operation:

 The 1960s  Second of five special sheets of stamps commemorating 50 years of the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society - the 1960s.

 The 1980s  Fourth of five special sheets of stamps commemorating 50 years of the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society - the 1980s.
