Other Services
In addition to our historic narrow-gauge steam trains, we offer a range of other services.
- Are you celebrating a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion? Talyllyn Treats are just the ticket with a footplate ride (adults only), guided tour of the works and museum, lunch and afternoon tea.
- Children's birthdays also catered for with party food, train ride and a chance to pose on the footplate.
- Do you want to get your hands on the controls and drive your own train or organise a really special surprise for someone you know? We offer truly memorable Driver Experiences, giving participants the opportunity to drive the train that started railway preservation. The train is all yours for the one or two round trips that you book.
- Do you want to charter a whole train for that special occasion. Contact us to find out more about our bespoke service we offer.
- Our Railway Letter Service allows visitors to send their friends or family (or even themselves) a unique souvenir of their visit to the railway.
- The Tearoom at Abergynolwyn station is licensed for the conduct of Civil Marriages.
We were treated like royalty... We remember it so pleasurably - a great way to celebrate a special occasion.
