The 1996 Drivers' Meeting took place on 24th. November, 1996; all 18 drivers and 7 passed firemen who had driven steam-hauled passenger trains during 1996 were present. The meeting commenced at 0932 and closed at 1613 with breaks for coffee in the morning, lunch (55 minutes) at midday and physical needs in the afternoon.
