After your meal you will board the Ghost Train into the night to be led around the Haunted Woods at Dolgoch where a spooky story will be told too before returning to Tywyn on the train.

Will the bar be open?

Yes selling a wide range of Beers, Wines and Ciders, and a spooky cocktail or two!

Is the meal before or after the train ride?

The meal is served before the train ride into the spooky woods.

How long does the train ride take?

The train ride from Tywyn Wharf takes 30 minutes each way, with 30 minutes in Dolgoch Woods.

Are there toilets at Dolgoch?

Yes, these aren’t accessible. Accessible toilets are available at Tywyn Wharf before departure.

How far is the walk?

800 yards

Is the walk accessible?

No, on crutches should be okay, but not in a wheelchair.  Wheelchair users are welcome to enjoy the food and to stay on the train at Dolgoch.

Do I need a torch?

You are welcome to bring a torch if you feel you may need extra illumination for the walk into the woods.

Are there any competitions for the best dressed?

Yes, but Fancy Dress isn’t compulsory, but there is also a competition for the best Carved Pumpkin too!

 

What happens if it rains?

The event will carry on as normal. We advise you to dress sensibly and if needed bring an umbrella.
