The Quarryman – A true Victorian Train Experience

Experience a unique journey following in the footsteps of your forefathers in beautiful Snowdonia.
The Talyllyn Railway is probably alone in being able to run its original carriages dating from the 1860s and invites you to enjoy a guided tour travelling in this unique train.
The experienced guide will travel on the train throughout the journey, pointing out interesting features and answering questions.
Stops for lunch, photographs, history and more. This tour includes the weighbridge workings at Wharf. Pricing is £39.50/adult, £15.00/child
Make your journey extra special and book a hamper to take with you on the train. Your hamper will include a sandwich, salad pot, yoghurt, sausage roll, crisps, and a water bottle. All locally sourced. You can also add a 200ml bottle of Prosecco to celebrate your journey!
The Quarryman’s Experience departs Tywyn Wharf at 10.50 am and arrives back at Tywyn Wharf at 3.22 p.m. where you will be served a Welsh Cream Tea in King’s Licensed Cafe and taken on a guided tour of the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum. The full experience lasts around 5 hours.
