Warm your spirits in these cold winter months aboard our heated carriages, hauled by a toasty warm steam engine!

The ‘Tinsel & Turkey Special’ departs from Tywyn Wharf at 10:30am & 2:10pm, with your full Christmas lunch being served in King’s Café at 1:15pm – just after or just before your festive steam train ride.

After selecting your train tickets, you can choose between a 2-Course or 3-Course meal and Adult or Child portion sizes – then select your food choices from the festive menu below:

Starter

Homemade pork & chicken liver pate in Penderyn Whiskey served with festive red onion
chutney and crisp melba toast.

A warming blend of roasted parsnips and gentle ginger soup, served with freshly baked
mini loaves.

Delicate filo pastry parcels filled with creamy blue cheese and sweet pears, finished with a
rich red wine dressing.

Main

Succulent roast turkey served with all the traditional trimmings, for the perfect festive
feast.

Tender oven-baked salmon with a luxurious white wine, caper and cream sauce,
accompanied by crushed new potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

A delicious homemade combination of mushrooms, spinach and chestnuts encased in
golden pastry, served with a creamy leek sauce

Dessert

A rich and indulgent traditional Christmas pudding served warm with a velvety brandy
sauce.

Luxuriously smooth chocolate cheesecake with cherries, served with a scoop of creamy
vanilla ice cream.

A beautifully zesty, glazed lemon tart, perfectly paired with refreshing blackcurrant
sorbet.
