Young Members Group Day

Celebrating our Young Volunteers!
The Talyllyn Young Members Group consists of our members that are aged 14-25 years old, and on this day we aim to staff as much of the Railway as possible with the YMG!
In addition to the normal pink timetable of five regular service trains, there will be a few extra activities going on too:
TWO demonstration Goods Trains, one steam & one diesel-hauled.
The 11:45 will be formed of a Baguley and Trecwn wagons, celebrating the role of the rolling stock from the former Royal Navy Armaments Depot in the upkeep of the present-day railway.
The 15:32 departure will be a steam-hauled goods train running up to Quarry Siding.
A Steam Loco at Wharf (between 9:30 and 15:30), where members of the YMG will teach YOU what goes into cleaning one of these historic machines. Rags and PPE will be provided.
An 18:30 Volunteers’ special train in the evening, enabling passengers to visit the Railway Inn for a meal and drinks. Returns to Wharf late evening.
Come and celebrate the achievements of this intrepid band of youngsters!
