Yes. Any of our standard single and return tickets allow you to break your journey at intermediate stations if there are later services in the timetable to allow you to complete your journey.

Can I buy a SINGLE fare?

Yes. Single fares are available between any station. Please contact our Booking Offices for details of fares.

Can I buy my Tickets in ADVANCE?

Yes you can but it is not compulsory.  Third Class tickets can be booked online. You need to decide the date and time of train. Please print out your booking confirmation and show this to the guard when asked. Please note this does not book you into a specific seat so you will need to arrive in plenty of time to choose your seat and carriage. First class tickets are available for an upgrade payable to the Guard for £2.00 per person per Single Journey.
