The Redevelopment Project will be split into two phases, with the first phase including the works at Pendre & Trefri.
Originally three different concepts were created for the work at Pendre, each with different pros and cons. We have now selected to move forward with Option C, the most ambitious of the three.

The work on Trefri itself will be split into a further two phases.
The first phase will focus on renovating the house into livable volunteer accommodation, including a new accessible bedroom and bathroom while the second phase will focus on building extensions to provide office space and an extra social room.
The concepts below show Trefri as we hope it will look once fully completed.
Once Phase 1 capital work is underway, it is our intention to submit another bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for Phase 2 – which will focus on improvements and developments at Tywyn Wharf and other areas yet to be decided.

The changes to Wharf Station aim to provide an enhanced visitor experience including improvements to the shop, museum, and café.
