The Redevelopment Project will be split into two phases, with the first phase including the works at Pendre & Trefri.
The Redevelopment of Pendre is the most ambitious part of the project, including the contruction of a brand new engineering facility on the site of what is currently North Shed.

The work on Trefri itself will be split into a further two phases.
The first phase will focus on renovating the house into livable volunteer accommodation, including a new accessible bedroom and bathroom while the second phase will focus on building extensions to provide a Community & Training Hub.
The concepts below show Trefri as we hope it will look once fully completed.
Once Phase 1 capital work is underway, it is our intention to submit another bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for Phase 2.
This phase of the project will focus on new improvements and developments across the Railway at other key areas, such as Tywyn Wharf, that are yet to be decided.
